Kumkum Bhagya is a show that revolves around Pragya Arora a humble teacher and rock star Abhishek Mehra. The story also focuses on their daughters. The elder daughter Prachi is a double copy of her mother who is beautiful, simple and kind hearted whereas the younger daughter Rhea has turned into an arrogant, egoistic girl always willing to get what she wants.

Rhea tries to make friends with the children of the Mehra household but gets frustrated when her attempts are met with sneers. She starts to hate the Mehra family and tries to break their bonding. Prachi tries to help her but Rhea rebuffs her. Prachi asks her to stay away from the children but she refuses. She is angered by this and decides to take revenge.

Meanwhile, Abhi is undergoing treatment for his heart attack and realises that he was wrong to believe that he is the reason behind Prachi’s separation from him. He tries to meet her secretly but is thwarted by Prachi who wants to tell her father that she loves him and that he was her mother’s husband.

In the meantime, Aliya pays some of Abhi’s fans to cheer more for her than Abhi so that the album cover features only her and not him. But Tarun overhears this and tells King about it. King becomes determined to expose Abhi’s camp for resorting to cheap business tactics.

During this time, Pragya sees a video of her and Sanju kissing each other at a party. She is upset by this but tries to hide her emotions from Abhi.

On the other hand, Rhea finds that Kiara is in Sunny’s class and is worried about her. She tries to convince Sunny and Kiara to befriend each other but fails. She then sends her to Abhi’s house for a weekend so that they can work on a class project together.
Pragya Reveals Startling Truths

She tries to convince him that she will get a DNA test done and that she is not the mother of Sid’s child. But he still doesn’t believe her. Later, he calls her and asks her to come out with him. Prachi cries and Ranbir consoles her.

Meanwhile, Tanu gets drunk and tries to escape from the house but she is caught by Shahana. She then reveals that she was the one who spiked her drink. Ranbir and Prachi are surprised to hear this.

Aaliya thinks that if Prachi was pregnant, they would have called her baby illegitimate. She is about to reveal this but stops herself.  Kundali Bhagya Written Update  thinks that she will never let Prachi’s dreams fade away.

Pragya looks at Abhi’s picture in her room apologising to him for her behavior. She is worried that he won’t be able to come home for a long time. Later, she reaches the temple and prays to God for his safe return.

As the show progresses, Prachi will reveal that she and Abhi have a deal and he will try to find out the truth. He will try to force Rhea to take a DNA test but she will refuse. Pragya realizes that Abhi hasn’t changed at all and he still holds her responsible for his mistakes. She also realizes that he doesn’t respect her anymore and he is only interested in his image. Meanwhile, Rhea is still angry at the Kohli family and she threatens them to take her revenge. She also reveals that she is pregnant with Ranbir’s child.

Later, Abhi finds out that Munni is unconscious and he sits by her bedside. He asks her a lot of questions. She answers a few of them but is shocked to see that she is actually Rhea. She tells him that she doesn’t know what happened to her.

She also explains that she has a lot of secrets and doesn’t want to share them with anyone. She wants to live a happy life with her child and doesn’t want anyone to ruin it. Abhi is astonished to hear this and he asks her why she didn’t tell him the truth.

Meanwhile, King convinces Mr. Wick to host an album release party at his new house. He also invites Abhi along with his wife. He asks him to bring Pragya too. Pragya agrees but only on the condition that she will help King win the competition.

She manages to fix the elevator and reunites with Kiara. She also distracts Abhi so that he doesn’t meet her face-to-face.

However, she soon realizes that her plan is not working. She gets worried as she knows that if Abhi and Pragya meet, he will immediately think of her and their unfinished love story.

Meanwhile, Ranbir realises that he can’t marry Rhea because of his feelings for Prachi. He tries to stop the wedding but fails. Later, some goons attack Ranbir and he gets unconscious.
