Bigg Boss 16 Written Update - Evictions and New Twists Keep Contestants on Edge
The contestants are seen going against each other in the house of Bigg Boss 16. Sumbul Touqeer Khan, Archana Gautam and Soundarya Sharma have been nominated for eviction.
Tina Dutta’s mother and Sumbul Touqeer’s father come to the house and question them. Also, Sreejita De re-enters the house.
Nimrit, Priyanka and Abdu have to guess who said what about them to get their things back.
1. Shalin Bhanot vs. Tina Dutta
Bigg Boss 16 has seen the inmates fight over various things including personal issues. While some fights have been friendly, there are others that get uglier and petty. One such pair is Tina Dutta and Shalin Bhanot who have been making headlines for all the wrong reasons lately. Apparently, the two women are at loggerheads because of some revelation by Priyanka Chahar Choudhary.
During a conversation with Priyanka, Tina makes some shocking accusations against Shalin. She claims that she has a history of bad mouthing people in the house and even mentions about the time when her mother exposed her to Shalin about how she was talking about her behind her back. She adds that she has been using men to play the show.
Soon after, Shalin interrupts a conversation between Sreejita De and Priyanka to badmouth her. This irritates Priyanka who confronts Shalin about her rude behavior. She also reveals that she doesn’t throw things around like Shalin in anger and doesn’t fear her. Shalin then apologizes to Priyanka and tries to repair their relationship.
Later, in a private conversation, Priyanka also warns Nimrit that Soundarya will definitely backstab them when the time comes. Hearing this, Nimrit gets upset and tells the contestants to leave her alone. Meanwhile, MC Stan takes up the task of choosing captaincy and starts picking names. He first takes Priyanka and Tina’s name but when he sees Priyanka standing up against him, he goes back to his original stand. Afterwards, he picks the name of Archana who is not happy about it. She argues that it’s unfair to call her Mandli because she doesn’t have a consistent nature.
2. Nimrit Kaur Ahluwalia vs. Priyanka Chahar Choudhary
In the upcoming Weekend Ka Vaar episode, Bigg Boss will give contestants the option to press the buzzer and nominate one another for eviction. This time, the housemates will be confined in the activity area and will have 2 options – remove the person who won the throne from the Captaincy race and take particular amount of ration or keep that person as a candidate for Captaincy by sacrificing extra ration.
Nimrit Kaur Ahluwalia and Priyanka Chahar Choudhary have been at each other’s throats since the start of the show. While Priyanka has been trying to secure her ticket to the finale, Nimrit has been making her life difficult in the house. She was recently in a big argument with Priyanka for the Choti Sarrdaarni task where she chose her Udaariyaan co-star Ankit Gupta over herself.
On the other hand, Priyanka was able to secure her ticket for the finals and is one of the favourites to win the trophy. However, things are not looking good for her as a viewer called her out for groupism. This sparked an argument between Priyanka and Nimrit, who locked horns over the issue. Shekhar Suman stepped in and ended the discussion before it escalated.
Afterwards, the housemates will be tasked with a cooking task where they will have to cook and taste food. During this task, the contestants will compete in pairs. Archana and Priyanka will team up while Shiv and Shalin will be in a competition with each other. The first couple to finish the task will win a special prize from the host. Archana and Priyanka end up in the lead while Nimrit and Shalin are left behind.
3. Archana Gautam vs. Sumbul Touqeer Khan
A few weeks ago, Archana Gautam got evicted from the BB house but was allowed to return in the previous episode. She also got a new captaincy task, which she won, and she got safeguarded from nominations too. But she doesn’t seem to be satisfied with this development and is now fighting with Sumbul Touqeer Khan.
The two fight while making breakfast. Archana makes a remark about Sumbul’s celebrity status, which upsets her and she slams her for not being able to understand basic hygiene. Tina Datta joins the argument and sides with Sumbul but Archana gets even more annoyed. She says that if you hug someone, it doesn’t mean that you are romancing them. This angers Soundarya too and she tries to stop them.
Priyanka Chahar Choudhary and Shiv Thakare try to calm the situation but the matter escalates further. Later, Archana tries to irritate Abdu Rozik by lying about him sleeping during the task. The Imlie actress tries to stop her but she doesn’t succeed. Priyanka then cries and Captain Soundarya comforts her.
Archana also tries to sabotage Nimrit Kaur Ahluwalia’s captaincy by telling her that he is sleeping and not doing the tasks. But she is caught in the act by Abdu, who slaps her for her behaviour. The fight between the two doesn’t end as Sumbul gets even more angry at Archana. The ’Kabhi Khushi Kabhi Ghar Mein’ actress asks her to leave but Archana doesn’t take the hint. This irritates Sumbul and she starts shouting at her.
4. Shiv Thakare vs. Abdu Rozik
It isn’t just the Mandali gang that are at odds with each other but a new rift in the house has emerged between Shiv Thakare and Abdu Rozik. In the latest episode, a viewer called Nimrit Kaur Ahluwalia out for groupism and Priyanka Chahar Choudhary joined in the argument saying she is a groupie and always tries to get herself backed up by people. This infuriated Shiv who claims that Archana Gautam is the same. He adds that she only uses bad language and is rude.
Meanwhile, MC Stan is seen at loggerheads with Archana too. He calls her ‘raw’ and says she hasn’t earned a single friend in the house. He also says that she tries to take advantage of others and doesn’t make her first move. The conversation gets tense when Sumbul Touqeer Khan and Priyanka join in to support their fellow contestant.
In another task, Gautam Singh Vig and Shiv Thakare compete for captaincy as the other contenders will stand on a platform with baskets on their heads and the one who drops it first loses. The winner will become captain and will have the power to change the bed positions of the housemates.
It’s reunion time in the house as Khatron Ke Khiladi 13 contestants Parineeti Chopra and Harrdy Sandhu enter the house. They have a lot of fun as they play games and even sing songs for each other. Abdu and Shiv join in too at Parineeti’s request and ask MC Stan to rap for him. They also play a game where they have to guess each other’s feelings and Harrdy gives it his all! It’s also been reported that there will be no evictions this week as the makers have decided to avoid any drama. However, they will have three more evictions in the last four weeks, including the mid-eviction in finale week.
5. Sreejita De vs. Manya Singh
The Bigg Boss house has seen a lot of drama and fights between different contestants. From a love story between MC Stan and Shiv Thakare to the feud between Archana Gautam and Priyanka Chahar Choudhary, there have been many intense moments. However, the fight between Manya Singh and Sreejita De was one of the most shocking. The former Miss India runner-up came in the limelight for her controversial and violent behaviour inside the house. Radha Mohan Upcoming Story was known for belittling other contestants and their professions and she even asked Abdu Rozik to throw shoes at Priyanka. The Bigg Boss fans were not pleased with her tactics and called her out for her behavior.
The latest promo of the show hints that it will showcase a major twist in the house. As per the promo, it appears that Shalin Bhanot is asked to press the buzzer to save Tina Datta and Sumbul Touqeer Khan, but with a twist. The contestants are also shown listening to letters from their families which will help them in deciding the next captaincy contender.
During the Weekend Ka Vaar episode, Karan Johar hosted the show as Salman Khan was sick with Dengue fever. The celebrity guests were Sajid Khan, Tina Datta, Priyanka Chaudhary, Nimrit Kaur Ahluwalia, Soundarya Sharma, Gori Nagori, MC Stan and Shiv Thakare. Nimrit, Priyanka and Sumbul were nominated for the fourth week. The housemates were then asked to select any three of them to become the new captain. Shiv, MC Stan and Abdu were selected and Shiv was made the captain of the house.
